Project Matribhoomi: To Take Back Every Inch

An introduction to the mission: why land is a core issue, why outrage isn't enough, and how citizens can join the legal fight. Project Matribhoomi is rooted in lesson from Vedas: "Bhoomi is our mother, and a strong nation needs knowledge, courage and prosperity". Our mission turns these ideals into action by protecting public land from unlawful encroachment through lawful means.

About this course

Project Matribhoomi: Understanding the Mission

Land, once lost, cannot be rebuilt. This course introduces the thinking behind Project Matribhoomi: why the project treats land as a core issue, what it means by encroachment, and why it believes lasting change comes from documented cases and court action rather than online outrage alone.

What you will learn

  • Why land is considered the real battlefield

  • Why talk and social-media sharing aren't enough, and what ground-level action looks like

  • The types of encroachment Rashtra Jyoti focuses on, and the networks and money that sustain them

  • The goal of taking up every identified case, our success stories - with reclaiming public property as the starting point

  • What supporters and volunteers can do, and why steady participation matters

What's included

  • Short video chapters, introducing the mission step by step

  • Downloadable reading material (PDFs)

  • More chapters and resources will be added over time

Rooted in the Vedas

Project Matribhoomi draws inspiration from two profound Vedic ideals: Bhoomi is our mother, and a strong nation must be built on knowledge, courage, prosperity and collective well-being.

  • Atharva Veda 12.1.12 - माता भूमिः पुत्रो अहं पृथिव्याः - "Earth is my mother; I am her child." Establishes our deep bond with Bhoomi and inspires gratitude, belonging and responsibility towards the land that sustains us.

  • Yajur Veda 22.22 - योगक्षेमो नः कल्पताम् - "May we obtain what we need and protect what we have." Envisions a prosperous and secure nation built through wisdom, valour, capable citizens and productive resources.

Project Matribhoomi turns these ideals into action: identifying unlawful encroachments, building evidence-backed cases and pursuing the lawful recovery and protection of public land.

Our commitment is clear: not merely to revere Matribhoomi, but to protect her through determined, organised and sustained lawful action.
