Vedanta Darshan - An Introduction
Examine Ishwar (the Supreme), Jeeva (the soul) and Prakriti (nature) through the Vedanta Sutras. Develop your understanding of self, reality, karma and liberation through scriptural study and reasoning.
About this course
Sanatan Vedic resurgence requires us to study and understand the Shastras. This introduction examines the Vedanta Sutras attributed to Rishi Ved Vyas, focusing on Ishwar, Jeeva, Prakriti and their relationship. Use reasoning to deepen your understanding and sadhana.
Follow the arguments about creation, karma, consciousness and liberation. Examine why Brahman creates, how cause and effect relate, and the course’s discussion of difference and non-difference between Jeeva and Brahman. Revisit unfamiliar terms and apply your understanding to sadhana.
